Julia Lehman-McTigue
I’ve been a professional photographer for 20 years. It is my passion and calling. Initially as a photojournalist and fine art photographer, it wasn’t until I became pregnant with my own children that I realized the importance of Portrait photography. Through being blessed with my daughter, Kaia Willow, and then my son, Lukan Miles, I began to appreciate the very fleeting nature of each stage of their development. I am constantly taking photographs of them. From documenting all the stages of my growing Belly to capturing magical moments with my brand new baby, I am so grateful to have those precious images.
For the last 10 years my focus and passion has been to document every aspect of a child’s growth. Each developmental stage is amazing ~ from a Momma’s growing belly, the wrinkly hands and toes of a newborn to documenting a baby’s first steps and capturing their sweet interactions with the world. These moments are fleeting and are treasures. Photography has always been my spiritual tool and creative outlet and it is truly an honor to do what I love so much and share it with other children and families.
